Rotary SAFE Families is a major initiative from Rotary Hawthorn and was established to help stop all forms of family violence by addressing its underlying causes.
It has evolved into an international peace program with valuable resources and tools including short films, Guide for Prevention of Family Abuse available in 9 languages to inform Rotarians and Peace builders on how to prevent family violence Stopping Abuse in Families Everywhere.
If you are part of a community or would like to know how you can become a Special Representative for Rotary SAFE Families, please register for the global Mega Meeting on Friday, 11 March at 11.00 am (AEDT).
Your participation will give you the opportunity to become a Special Representative and become informed how you can support the primary prevention of abuse to women, men, children and our elderly. We must take responsibility and help prevent family violence and abuse for the sake of our children and grandchildren.
